Happy Birthday to George! We are hoping he will join us in November to help us sail the ARC.
Today we got delivery of our A3.5 asymmetric spinnaker. She has a top down furler for easy handling.
We are calling her Lily the Pink for obvious reasons.
We were very tempted to test her on our run down to the Hamble, we even got the sheets ready.
With only 2 of us and not having ever put her up before, we were excited but cautious.
If the wind had stayed light at 9-11 knots we would have given it a go, but every time we started getting serious the wind started building to 15-16 knots so we erred on the side of caution and will wait for lighter winds or a dry run on the dock.
She will look awesome!
