Danish Limericks! 🇩🇰

With sea and the sky somewhat grey

We set off to Gilleleje

We got wind with the rain

Solid 7 knots again

Adjo Sweden and to Denmark Hej Hej!

We motored with no wind past Helsingør

The castle of Hamlet from yesteryear

Dolphins were dancing

Copenhagen advancing

We arrived to greet Frank and Olivia

With new crew we set off in a breeze

We reached Rodvig harbour with ease

The wind farms aligned

Mooring posts we did mind

Fish and chips and scrummy prawns please!

In Rødvig we went for a walk

Atop cliffs whose stratum could talk

Of that asteroid hit

That shows in the bit

Of fish clay between limestone and chalk

We set off to Møn on a glassy sea

Porpoises leapt and up popped a seal

Dutch friends shared a drink

The sky went quite pink

And Italians sang as we ate our meal!

This morning we woke up to rain

So we sit on the dock once again

We get on with our jobs

Those boat bits and bobs

There’s always something to maintain!

Our first sail just Ele and Dave

Off to Gedser we’re feeling quite brave

Sunshine, force four

Who could ask for more?

Safely in before the wind misbehaved!

While innocently resting on dock

We felt a big bang! What a shock!

Some mad man was stuck

On our bow! Wtf
