Today we welcomed Sam and Rosemary onto La Bamba. Sam was our first crew back in Henan in Sweden when we first got La Bamba and will be joining us for the ARC; Rosemary has never sailed before.

Thursday 21 May
Having done a quick foal check on Lymington sea wall (6 – doubled from last time!) and having got very excited about seeing a cuckoo – normally I only ever hear them – we set off on Thursday with light winds and sunny weather. My favourite!

Lymington May 2-5
We have spent a few days on the dock doing jobs while others go out sailing. This doesn’t bother us as we are going to get a lot of miles under our hull later this year!
