Combarro to Praia de Agra 5nm
Tuesday 18 August

There’s no wind so we relaxed, explored the pretty town of Combarro and I went for a swim.

Combarro was ‘discovered’ in 1972 and designated a town of cultural heritage, which is a bit of a shame for it as the bus tours come relentlessly every day.

Every town or village on the Ria has its own sandy beach.

At 5pm we left the dock and the wind picked up!

However as we are only going 5 miles and the wind is from exactly on the nose and we are a bit lazy we motored up to our peaceful anchorage in a bay tucked inside the Ria – Praia de Agra.

There were a few boats at anchor when we arrived bur they gradually left and we moved a bit closer in.

Then we relaxed on La Bamba Island. The wind died down and we enjoyed wine and a pasta meal made by our captain and chef.

We didn’t bother getting Zigzags out, we just enjoyed the peace and pretty lights from the shore.

Max went for a swim after dark – it looked lovely.
Unfortunately poor Max was poorly last night and was again this night. We think the first time may have been eating a lot of fish and seafood that he’s not used to perhaps, but now we don’t know what it is, but his tummy is obviously irritated by something.
We hope we get wind soon and Max feels better.
